Baraje buys N150M Hotel

People's Democratic Party's former national secretary, Kawu Baraje is one man who has a very humble beginning, and used to live at his extended family compound in Baboko in Ilorin West local government area for several years.

A retired civil servant, who rose to the position of Permanent Secretary, Kawu Baraje fathered many children, and his firstborn and second's names are Biola and Biodun respectively. And just as he is a father of many children, Baraje who at a time was the acting national chairman of the ruling party is now a proud owner of several choice properties in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital where he hails from.

His latest acquisitions Behind-the-news was told were two mega filling stations, the former AP Petrol Station opposite General Hospital along Abdul-Aziz Attah Road. The other was the one at the junction that leads to Oja-tuntun market around FINBANK Branch.

But that was not all. Confirmed information has it that the top politician who made his money from influence peddling recently acquired a two-star hotel, Deens Motel located at Old Western Reservoir now Olusola Saraki Road. He bought the hotel that is currently undergoing complete transformation for N150million.
