This year's edition of Kwara State Challenge Cup competition begins today at the Main-Bowl of the Kwara State Stadium Complex with Avalon FC taking on Lubcon FC in the first match.

The match begins by 4,00pm. Five clubs registered for the Kwara State Football Association organised competition.

The winner of the first match will take on defending champions Kwara United Football Club on Monday March 28, in the first semi-final match of the qualifiers for the national Federation Cup championship.

Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin Football Club will take on Kwara Football Academy in the second semi-final on Tuesday March 29, while the final match has been scheduled to hold on Saturday April 2nd.

Chairman of Kwara FA, Mallam Busari Ishola said that necessary logistics have been put in place to ensure hitch-free competition.
