Bukola Saraki Babes crash again

Date: 2012-02-03

The woes of the Nigeria Premier League side, Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club of Ilorin continued unabated on Wednesday as the team lost by a lone goal to Akwa United inside the U J Essune Stadium, Calabar.

The defeat ensured that the Coach Eramus Onuh side is rooted to the bottom of the NPL after six rounds of matches with only one point. Despite their doggedness, ABS bowed to the superior fireworks of their host led by Coach Solomon Ogbeide.

Akwa United scored first in the 2nd minute of play through Babale Ibrahim while ABS leveled the scoreline with a beautiful goal from Abiodun Sala. A goal by Solomon Jabason in the 80th minute shattered the hope of the visiting side.

ABS FC will this weekend host Shooting Stars inside the Kwara State Stadium with the sole aim of picking its first victory of the season.
