152 dart players arrive Ilorin for national championship

No fewer than 152 dart players will arrive in Ilorin on Wednesday for a four-day 6th National Dart Championships at the International Tobacco Company (ITC) Club.

Mr Dele Oguntokun, the Chairman of the Local Organising Committe (LOC), told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ilorin ahead of the opening ceremony scheduled for Thursday that the championship would attract participants from across the country.

Oguntokun, who is also the Secretary of the Kwara United FC of Ilorin, promised that the tournament would surpass the previous editions.

He said Gov. Abdulfatah Ahmed would open the championship for both men and women being jointly sponsored by the ITC, Lubcon Oil and 7Up Bottling Company among others.

The national dart championship ends on Oct 31. (NAN)
