Kwara community denies death of OPC members

Agbamu community, a town in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State has debunked publications in some national dailies that three members of Odua People Congress(OPC) died during a fracas at the 10th anniversary of the traditional ruler of the community.

The community spokesman, Professor Rotimi A. Olawepo, who stated "this in a statement which was made available to journalists in Ilorin, said, "the celebration witnessed a large crowd of between 3,000-5,000 people with various traditional rulers from within and outside the state in attendance and the event went smoothly.

The ceremony was conducted peacefully without any interruption or clash by any group. Lives of dignitaries were not at anytime put at risk and the attendance of the OPC leader, Otunba Gani Adams did not create a breach of peace".
