Kwara United officials escape death in auto crash
Coach of Kwara United, Tunde Abdulrahman and his assistant, Tunde Sanni, were involved in a serious accident on Friday morning, as they travelled to Oghara for a Nigeria Premier League match against Bayelsea United.
The crash happened in Elegbeka-Ifon which is a settlement in Ondo state, after their vehicle collided with another vehicle. Both men sustained minor injuries.
Players of the Ilorin-based club were not involved in the incident, as they were travelling separately in a luxury bus.
Abdulraham is under pressure to change the fortunes of Kwara United. The club currently sit in 13th place on the league table and he has been given a three-match ultimatum to get back to winning ways.
