We can't sell petrol at official rate- IPMAN leader
Prices of petroleum products will remain irregular unless the supply is made available at local depots, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) in Kwara State has said.
The association spoke against the backdrop of the increase in the price of petrol per litre with some private filling stations selling at N150 despite availability.
Speaking with Daily Trust yesterday, a factional Chairman of IPMAN, Alhaji Abdulrasheed Olopade, said the availability of the product must be complemented by availability at local depots of the NNPC.
He said most independent marketers bought the product at private depots in Lagos where the petrol was sold at higher rate.
