DStv league: Union Bank beat Kwara Falcons 61-58

Kwara Falcons Basketball team on Friday at the state's indoor sports hall, Ilorin suffered their third consecutive loss of the season to visiting Union Bank of Lagos in the encounter which ended 58-61.

The week four Atlantic conference encounter of the DStv Premier Basketball league saw the visitors taking charge from the first quarter, showing high technical input.

The first and second quarters ended 15-13, 22-29 in favour of Union Bank with the home side chasing the game all through.

Kwara Falcons stepped up in the third quarter gradually picking up points but the visitors' superiority showed with a 45-43 advantage.

The final quarter was no different as both sides strived to win but the visitors won with a 61-58 match point.

Kwara Falcons will travel to face Delta Force last Friday.
