Wikki Tourists, Kwara Utd, others battle in 2015 NNL Super Four
All is now set for the commencement of 2015 Nigeria National League (NNL) Super Four Tournament involving the teams that qualified to play in the Nigeria Football Premier League (NFPL) when the season starts next month.
The teams will converge on Ilorin next Monday to battle for the champion of Champions title.
The four clubs which will compete in the Pre-season football fiesta are Wikki Tourists Football Club of Bauchi and Kwara United of Ilorin Winner and Runner-up of the NNL Group A regular season respectively.
Others are Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan and Gabros International of Nnewi which came first and second in Group B respectively at the end of the season.
But the true winner of the 2014/2015 NNL season will emerge in Ilorin where all the teams will have the opportunity to test each other for size.
The three day competition will end on Wednesday, February 25.
Already, the NNL secretariat have moved to Ilorin to ensure a hitch free tournament even as participating clubs are expected to arrive Ilorin on Sunday ahead of the Monday kickoff date.
NNL Chairman, High Chief Emeka Inyama has also assured football fans of good football and therefore urged Ilorin people to troop out in large numbers to watch the best clubs in the domestic league.
