The Kwara State Police Command has postponed, till Friday, its planned security meeting with 13 governorship aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kwara State.

The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Salihu Garba, on Wednesday said only one of the aspirant made a brief appearance while some of them sent representatives.

He stated that the meeting was schedule for Wednesday but had to be postponed till next week Friday because many of the aspirants did not turn up.

He stated that only Prof. Oba Abdulraheem was present while some of them, particularly Alhaji Jani Ibrahim and Mohammed Bio, called him to explain their inability to be present at the meeting.

According to him, the meeting was meant only for the aspirants and not for their representatives.
