In a communique issued at the end of its Annual General Meeting attended by all the. Traditional chiefs, the clergy and. sons and daughters of Ijomu Oro worldwide, the community hinged it's endorsement on the visible landmark achievements of Governor Ahmed.

According to the communique jointly signed by Hon. Jacob Ibiyeye (Chairman Ijomu Oro branch), Mr. Joseph Adewuyi(Chairman, Ilorin Branch) and Chief Sunday Aremu(Chairman, Lagos branch), Ijomu Oro has been a beneficiary of a N210 milllion road project among other amenities bestowed on it by the Ahmed administration.

" The present administration of Governor Ahmed cares for our community, it has brought honour and development to Ijomu oro . We support its continuity, we will support Governor Ahmed in 2015", the community said.

The motion for the endorsement of Governor Ahmed for 2015 was moved by Hon. Ibiyeye and unanimously adopted by a massive show of hands by the delegates.

Gov. Ahmed's Special Adviser on Communication Strategy and a prominent son of Ijomu Oro, Alh. Abdulraheem Adedoyin who also attended meeting had earlier enumerated the achievements of the Administration not only in Oro but in Kwara south in general.

Highlights of the AGM also included an enlightenment lecture on Ebola disease, conducted in yoruba language, by a delegate and medical don, Prof. James Adewuyi of the University of Ilorin
