Press Release: APC behind violence at PVC distribution centre - Belgore

It is our wish that every adult Kwaran register to vote, and to collect their permanent voter's card which enables them to perform their civic duty as responsible citizens. It is therefore absurd and lazy for anyone to claim that we orchestrated anything capable of disrupting such exercise. It is contradictory.

The APC was entirely responsible for the violence unleashed on the people yesterday and we had since (Friday August 15) reported the case at the nearest divisional police post. A formal complaint is being prepared for the state police command to check the tendency of the APC and its government in Kwara State to instigate violence and then turn around to look for the fall guy.

For the record, we wish to state categorically that MD Belgore SAN has absolutely no hand in such indecent conduct as perpetuated by APC thugs sponsored by one serving commissioner. Belgore has been known for his commitment to peace and decency and he remains bonded to these.
