Alhaji Sulu-Gambari stated this today at the annual traditional Tasfir programme organised by the Isale-Gambari community urging them to remain committed and steadfast to teachings of the Holy Quran.

The monarch noted that the Isale-Gambari community was known as the seat of intellectuals as well as seasoned Islamic clerics who have contributed in no small measures to the growth and development of the Ilorin Emirate and its environs.

He added that while at the World Islamic conference in Casablanca, Morocco, his mind was fully with the people of Ilorin community and Kwara State at large towards the peaceful and successful completion of the glorious month of Ramadan.

The Emir also gave thank to God for his blessings on the people of the Ilorin and its environ and seek more protection for the state and Nigeria at large in the face of insecurity which has posed threat on the peaceful co-existence of the citizenry.

Earlier in his remark, the Pioneer chairman of ICPC and Wakili of Ilorin, Justice Mustapha Akanbi, commended the Emir for honouring the community with his presence despite his tight schedules.

He however prayed Allah to grant Alhaji Sulu-Gambari long life on the throne as the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Traditional Council for the growth peaceful and harmonious relationship of the communities in the state.
