Unilorin Muslim Community holds 7th quarterly lecture
A statement made available to Unilorin Bulletin disclosed that the occasion would also be used to launch the Community's N100 million mosque projects appeal fund.
According to the statement, Prof. Ishaq Lakin Akintola of the Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos, who is also the Director, Muslim Right Concerns (MURIC), will deliver the Lecture on the topic, “Muslims, Where Are You Going?”
The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Abdul Ganiyu Ambali, will be the Chairman/Chief Host, while the Secretary General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, will be the Special Guest of Honour.
The statement added that the Chief Launchers at the event will be Alhaja Muinat Shagaya, Alhaji Abdulraheem Oladimeji, Mallam Yusuf O. Ali SAN, Senator Gbemisola Saraki, Engr. Jani Ibrahim and Mr. R. A. Lawal-Rabana, SAN.
Members of the Muslim Community and the general public are cordially invited.
