The Kwara State Police Command, Ilorin would provide equal playing ground for all the political parties in the state,as the command warned political parties against violence.

The state Police Commissioner, Mr Ambrose Aisabor gave the assurance during the week during an interactive session with all the leaders of political parties in the state at  the Police Officers' Mess, Ilorin.

He said 'if we police are fair to everybody, there will be peace. Am given you my word, I will be fair to all regardless of political affiliation,but at the same time, I need your cooperation too so that there can be peace through out the political activities and beyond in the state'.

Aisabor  also warned political parties against provision of dangerous weapon to their party loyalists,adding that any person or group of people arrested for causing political unrest will be brought to book.

The commissioner told the politicians to always report all issues relating to violent to the police with fact,  we don't capitalise on hear say as he promised to treat all cases with justice and equal opportunity to all the parties involved.
