4,142 DPP Members Defect to APC in Kwara
No fewer than 4,142 members of Democractic Peoples Party, DPP, from Ilorin East/ Ilorin South state constituency of the state publicly dumped their party and joined the All Progressives Congress APC in the state.
The defectors, according to THISDAY checks was led by the State House of Assembly candidate of DPP for Ilorin East/ Ilorin South state constituency in the 2011 election in the state, Mr. Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki
Addressing reporters in Ilorin during their defection at the Ilofa campaign hall of the Saraki family, the leader of the defectors, Mr. Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki said that they have decided to join the APC based on the quality leadership of Senator Bukola Saraki.
