A new Secretariat to house four Ministries is to be built by the Kwara State Government.

The four Ministries are Energy, Economic Planning, Commerce and Cooperatives and Water Resources.

The State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed disclosed this today while speaking on this month's edition of "The Governor Explains".

Governor Ahmed said the new secretariat which would be located at the present Ministry of Energy was to create a better working environment for civil servants.

The governor who described civil servants in the state as committed and supportive officers, promised that additional car loan cheques would be presented to some civil servants on Monday, next week.

Governor Ahmed described civil servants as the engine room of any administration and promised to ensure an ICT driven working environment for better results.
