He made the statement while briefing journalists in Ilorin on the readiness of the APC to receive defectors from the Labour Party (LP) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Reacting to media reports that some members of the APC in Balogun Fulani Ward III, Ilorin South local government defected to the PDP.

The APC Spokesman said, "the report is false. None of our members in Balogun Fulani ward III defected to the PDP. No amount of invisible defection propaganda can save the PDP from electoral defeat in 2015. Our party will bury PDP in Kwara State by February(2015)".

Alhaji Buhari said the APC in Kwara State has become a beautiful home for the people of Kwara State.

He said, "Just yesterday, eight (8) PDP youth associations from Ilorin West LG came to our secretariat and expressed their willingness to join APC.

"They cited imposition and lack of capable leadership for their decision to leave the PDP for our party. More PDP members would defect from Moro and Oyun LGAs in a matter of days. Imposition and leadership tussle have torn the PDP into pieces.

Our party is a beautiful home for Kwarans. Peace and love abound in the APC. We will continue to receive defectors", the spokesman said.
