DSTV Basketball League: Kwara Falcons beat Royal Hoopers

Kwara Falcons on Friday beat Royal Hoppers of Portharcourt 71-49 in the ongoing DSTV Basketball Premier League week seven encounter.

At Indoor Sports Hall of Kwara Stadium, Ilorin, the Falcons showed the winning streak from the first quarter and maintained the lead throughout the entire four quarters.

Speaking with newsmen at the end of the encounter, the Chairman of the State Basketball Association, Dr Joseph Adeyemo, commended the team.

Adeyemo noted that the in-house meeting held earlier had assisted greatly and promised that the team would continue to improve with each game.

Coach Tunde Kazeem, the State Director of Sports, commended the players for their performance and urged them to sustain it.

The Kwara Falcons lost their earlier two games both at home and away.

With this win, the team will now play Dodan Warriors in its next game in Ilorin slated for April 25.
