Wife of the Kwara State Governor, Mrs. Omolewa Ahmed, in the spirit of Ramadan, has donated Lace Materials and veils to 23 women Islamic group in Ilorin, the state capital.

Distributing the materials recently on behalf of Mrs. Ahmed, the Special Assistant to wife of the Governor on Special Duties, Hajia Aminat Kannike, explained that the gesture  was aimed at making life more comfortable for the beneficiaries.

Leaders of the women groups who were on hand to take delivery of the materials on behalf of their members expressed appreciation to Mrs. Ahmed for always considering the plight of women even as they prayed that Almighty Allah will continue to guide her aright.

The materials which were distributed based on the number of membership of the various group saw some beneficiaries getting as many as 300 bundles lace materials.

Earlier during this season of Ramadan, Mrs. Ahmed through her LEAH Charity Foundation had distributed food beverage items to different women groups including widow in the state for their enjoyment during the holy month.
