The Sarkin Hausawa of Kwara state and Maji Dadin Sarkin Gobir of Sokoto state, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim has called on the newly appointed Special Assistant to the governor of Kwara State on Hausa Affair to use the opportunity to design a  programme that will further cement the unity of Hausa communities for better growth and development of the state.

Ibrahim who made the call while fielding questions from newsmen shortly after a prayer organised by the Hausa community in Gambari area near “Sarkin Aska “residence in Ilorin East local government area of the state, in honour of the newly appointed Special Assistant to governor Abdulfatah Ahmed on Inter-community Relations, Hausa Affairs, Mallam Yusuf Iliyasu Al-Bushra   also noted that the appointee should see the appointment as a call to serve his people.

He urged him to ensure that his actions and activities are geared towards creating ideas that would assist government in moving the people and the state forward.

He urged him to remain committed to ensuring that the community is more united for better progress and development at all times.

In his sermon an Islamic Cleric, Khalifa Muhammad Auwal Tanimu described the newly appointed special Adviser as a diligent leader.

He said he is confident that based on his record he will deliver the mandate of his people.

The clericadmonished him to continue his life the way he started it and that he should not change his ways from good to bad.

He also call on the Hausa community to rally round the newly appointed Special Assistant with good advice to enable him deliver on his mandate.

Responding the newly appointed Special Assistant  on Inter-community Relations, Hausa Affairs, Mallam Yusuf Iliyasu Al-Bushra thanked the community for organising the prayer in his support and assured them of his determination to deliver on all his promises on issues that would move the community and the state forward.
