KWAWE adds value for Kwara women
The Gender and Business Platform (GAB) organised recently by Kwara Women Entrepreneurs (KWAWE) has brought glad tidings to market women and house wives in the state.
KWAWE is an Ilorin-based women advocacy organisation with the mandate of creating awareness on business opportunities for mostly women with the principal aim of making them self-reliant and economically buoyant.
The organisation in its continuous efforts at making life more abundont for women has also introduced business opportunities that are designed to add value to the lives of women in Kwara State and beyond.
Valuable materials introduced to Kwara women last Monday included what they called 'wonder bags', clean cooking stove and appliances such as clippers, rechargeable lamps and radios all powered by solar energy.
The idea of bringing these items was basically to avail Kwara women with opportunity embedded in the use of these items particularly as regards cost implication, safety of life as well as joy and pleasure they bring to the users.
The wonder bag is a specially made bag from South Africa that is designed to conserve heatfor more than 12 hours.
The essential function of the bags includes its ability to perfectly cook half done food and retain the heat for more than 12 hours.
