Dethroned Olofa sues for peace
Oba Gbadamosi made the call shortly after the Court of Appeal yesterday nullified his ascension to the throne.
The Oba said no one should lose any sleep over the development as he has directed his lawyers to lodge an appealof the judgment with the
Supreme Court, stressing that having first won at the court of first instance, he remained optimistic of justice at the apex court.
While addressing a mammoth crowd of sympathizers at the palace,
Oba Gbadamosi urged the people to go and prepare for the Ramadan fast
and be happy in their deeds, as there wass no cause for alarm.
People have been going about normal businesses in the town in spite of the judgment that removed the Olofa and there was no security threat or breach of peace.
