Pillars face tricky Kwara trip

Date: 2013-05-26

Leaders Kano Pillars are gunning for points to keep them on top of the Nigeria league when they battle Kwara United in Ilorin.

Kano Pillars, who have set the pace in Nigeria league with 25 points, have a tough task against on-form Kwara United, who are now fourth on the league table with 22 points.

About a year ago, 'The Afonja Warriors' pipped Pillars 1-0.

Pillars on-form striker Kabiru Umar told MTNFootball.com that they are ready and he will be looking forward to get the goals to sink Kwara on Sunday.

We are leading and wish to retain our title, the only way to achieve that is to be consistent home and away. I thank God that everything is working fine for me and Pillars now. I am looking forward to give us the goals,  Umar told newsmen
