Ahmed Seeks Review Of Revenue Allocation
The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, has called for the review of the federal revenue allocation formula in favour of the States and Local Governments to reflect the activities of those levels of government.
The Governor made this remark during an interactive session with the participants of the Executive Intelligence Management Course 5 of the Institute of Security Studies who paid him a courtesy visit in Ilorin.
The Governor said such a review is expedient because the tiers of government are closer to the people and carry out such responsibilities as provision of primary health care, education and even repair of federal roads.
