Seven Kidnapped Construction Workers, Including Two Kwara Engineers, Regain Freedom
Seven construction workers, including two engineers from the Kwara State Ministry of Works, who were abducted in Owa Onire community, Ifelodun Local Government Area, have been released unharmed.
The Commissioner for Works, Engr. Abdulquawiy Olododo, confirmed their freedom in a statement on Monday.
Olododo expressed profound gratitude to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the security agencies for their relentless efforts in securing the victims' safe return.
"We are grateful to His Excellency and to the security agencies. We also appreciate everyone who stood by us in these trying times," he said.
The commissioner commended the governor's leadership in strengthening public safety and reiterated the administration's determination to rid Kwara State of bandits and terrorists.
