The Kwara State Police Command has announced the arrest of two kidnap suspects, including a female, and the successful rescue of a kidnap victim, Haruna Ahamadu, unhurt from a kidnappers' den in the Omu-Aran forest, Irepodun local government area of the state.

In a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, the Command confirmed the operational success: "The Kwara State Police Command has recorded yet another operational success in its sustained onslaught against criminal elements in the state."

The PPRO detailed the operation, stating: "Acting on credible intelligence, a combined team of police operatives and vigilante group rescued one Haruna Ahamadu unhurt from kidnappers’ den in Omu-Aran forest."

The arrested suspects are currently in custody, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend other fleeing members of the gang.

"Two suspects, Ayisa Ibrahim (female) and Yakubu Hassan (male), are currently in custody, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend other fleeing members of the gang. ?
