The management of Kwara United has appointed Barrister Ibrahim Abiola as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Special Duties to the club chairman, Kumbi Titiloye, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The appointment is part of ongoing efforts by the Ilorin-based side, often called the Afonja Warriors, to reposition the club for greater success both on and off the pitch by strengthening its administrative structure and enhancing operational efficiency.

Despite their early exit from the CAF Confederation Cup in the first preliminary round, the club has shown renewed determination in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

Barr. Abiola confirmed his appointment on Tuesday via his social media handle, expressing gratitude and excitement for the new role. "I'm honored to announce my appointment as Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties to the Chairman of Kwara United, Mr. Kumbi Titiloye," he stated.

"I'm excited to support the Chairman with special assignments, operational coordination, and the execution of key projects to elevate the club's success and value.
