Kwara United Bolster Squad With Six New Signings Ahead of CAF Confederation Cup
Kwara United have strengthened their Harmony Boys squad with six new signings ahead of the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup.
The Club are not done yet, as two additional potential recruits remain under close evaluation. These reinforcements are aimed at ensuring the club mounts a competitive campaign on the continental stage.
The new players are expected to integrate swiftly into Head Coach Tunde Sanni's plans as the season approaches, with the team already engaged in intensive pre-season training sessions.
Kwara United's proactive approach to squad building is welcomed, as Nigerian clubs have often entered continental competitions underprepared, relying on determination rather than depth and tactical versatility. This time, the Harmony Boys appear determined to change that narrative.
Adding six players before the season even kicks off signals ambition and forward thinking. If the two additional targets join, it could give the club a squad deep enough to handle both domestic and continental commitments. This is exactly the mindset Nigerian clubs need to compete effectively beyond our borders.
We must also consider the importance of cohesion. Signings on paper don't automatically translate to success; integration and clarity of roles are just as critical. With Sanni at the helm and a strong pre-season in motion, Kwara United have the opportunity to make a bold impression in Africa and we believe they should seize it without hesitation.
