UNILORIN Opens Post-UTME Portal for 2025/2026 Admission Screening
The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has opened its portal for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening exercise, inviting eligible candidates to register for admission consideration.
In a statement issued on Monday, 28 July 2025, by Kunle Akogun, Director of Corporate Affairs, the university confirmed that registration commenced on 28 July and will close on 10 August 2025. The exercise is open to all candidates who selected UNILORIN as their first-choice institution via the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry.
UTME applicants must have attained a minimum score of 180 in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination. The university reiterated that only candidates meeting this threshold and fulfilling the first-choice requirement would qualify for screening.
Prospective students are advised to complete registration via the official portal within the stipulated timeframe to avoid disqualification.
Eligible candidates are required to visit the university's official website www.unilorin.edu.ng for full details on the registration procedure.
"The University of Ilorin hereby invites all candidates who have applied for admission into the University in the 2025/2026 Academic Session as first choice, either at UTME or Direct Entry levels, to visit the University website: www.unilorin.edu.ng for details of the procedure for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise.
"To be eligible, UTME candidates must have scored at least 180 in the UTME examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)."
