Date: 2025-05-28

Mr Abiodun Dada, an aspirant for the Kwara State House of Assembly seat representing the Ekiti constituency in the 2027 general elections, has pledged to create a supportive environment for children to thrive if elected.

In a statement issued to commemorate Children's Day on Tuesday, the candidate emphasized the importance of nurturing wisdom and compassion in children, calling it foundational to their growth and societal progress.

A legal practitioner and Agbaakin (traditional ruler) of the Osi Kingdom in Ekiti Local Government Area (LGA), Mr Dada extended his greetings to children, praying for divine insight to guide them through life's challenges. He highlighted children's role as future architects of the nation and vowed to champion policies advocating for their rights and welfare.

He pledged to sponsor a comprehensive bill aimed at protecting and enhancing the well-being of children in Kwara State.

"His vision is to create a supportive environment where every child can thrive, ensuring they have access to education, health care, and safe living conditions," the statement said.

Dada also promised to provide more scholarships for children in the area to help them achieve their goals in life.
