Former Senate President Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki and former Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Professor Ahmad Ali, have praised Senator Gbemisola Ruqayyah Saraki's political and economic contributions to national development over the weekend.

The accolades were issued in separate birthday messages to mark the senator's 60th birthday. Both leaders highlighted her impactful tenure as a federal minister under former President Muhammadu Buhari's administration, which enhanced her ability to advance socio-economic progress.

Dr. Saraki, in his congratulatory statement, commended her for leveraging her experience to improve the welfare of disadvantaged communities at both state and national levels.

Ahmad, while extending warm birthday felicitations to her said she was a distinguished daughter of Kwara and an accomplished public servant.

Ahmad described her as a symbol of excellence in public service.
