The Chief Judge of Kwara State, Hon. Justice Abiodun Ayodele Adebara, has laid the foundation for a new High Court building and Oath Office in Ajase-Ipo, Irepodun Local Government Area (LGA), Kwara State.

The project, spearheaded by HRM Oba (Barr.) Ismail Yahaya Atoloye Alebiosu-Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Chairman of the Irepodun LGA Traditional Council, and Chairman of the Igbomina/Ekiti Traditional Rulers Forum-is being constructed on four plots of land. The initiative reflects Olupo's commitment to advancing community development and legal infrastructure.

During a site tour for the Chief Judge and other judicial officials, Olupo, a practising lawyer, explained that the project was driven by a desire to support his constituency and the legal profession. The construction, currently at the Damp Proof Course (DPC) stage, aims to improve access to justice by establishing an additional judicial division in Irepodun, alongside the existing Omu-Aran division.

The Olupo is realizing the vision of establishing a center for justice administration within the state, which will possess enhanced functionality and appeal.

This project he has embarked on is in line with our vision of creating robust channels for the speedy dispensation of justice in Kwara and we are grateful to Kabiyesi for the gift of this historic edifice," Justice Adebara stated.
