Kwara TESCOM Releases CBT Results, Prepares to Announce Cutoff Marks

Date: 2025-02-22

The Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has announced that applicants who participated in the recent Computer-Based Test (CBT) for public school teaching jobs can now access their results via the official portal.

In a statement, TESCOM Chairman, Mallam Bello Taoheed, confirmed that all candidates who took the examination are able to view their scores online. He explained that this marks the first stage following the CBT, with the commission set to release cutoff marks to determine which candidates will progress to the interview and screening stages.

A total of 8,529 applicants successfully sat and completed the exam across seven designated centres. The breakdown is as follows: Kwara State College of Education (COED), Ilorin – 2,891; Ilorin West LGA – 1,991; University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) – 1,677; Lafiagi – 812; Offa – 586; Oko – 297; and Patigi – 275. Out of the 9,459 candidates invited to participate in the CBT, 930 did not attend.

Mallam Taoheed assured applicants that further updates, including cutoff marks, interview dates, and additional procedures, will be communicated shortly.
