SA Digital Innovations and Computer Society Rep Visit Coding Bootcamp, Praise Students' Innovation
As shared on the Kwara State Government Facebook page, Hon. Ishola Kayode, the Special Assistant on Digital Innovations, and representatives from the Nigeria Computer Society visited Etsu Maman Saba Junior Secondary School, Batapkan, one of the centers hosting the Free Summer Coding and Digital Literacy Bootcamp.
This initiative, led by the Kwara State Government under Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, is designed to equip students with essential digital skills for the 21st century.
During the visit, Hon. Kayode and the Nigeria Computer Society representatives thanked the instructors, supervisors, and coordinators for their dedication to the program.
Hon. Kayode interacted with the students, seeking their feedback and recommendations to further enhance the bootcamp. He emphasized that the students' input would be crucial to ensuring the program's sustainability and effectiveness.
A major highlight of the visit was the students' project presentations, where they demonstrated creativity and innovation, reflecting the success of the bootcamp in empowering young minds with valuable digital skills.
Hon. Kayode noted that the bootcamp is not only equipping students with technical knowledge but also fostering a passion for learning and innovation, a key investment in Kwara's future.
