According to a news report from Daily Trust, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kwara State has taken proactive steps to enhance the capabilities of its intelligence and investigative officers through a dedicated capacity-building training programme.

This initiative aligns with the vision and commitment of the NSCDC Commandant-General, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi, to strengthen the corps' effectiveness and ensure the safety of the Kwara community.

The event was themed “Enhancing Analytical Capabilities in Modern Intelligence and Investigative Practices.”

Over 300 intelligence officers from Area Commands and Divisional Offices across the 16 LGAs of the state attended the event.

In his opening remarks, the State Commandant, Dr. Umar Mohammed, who was represented by the Head of the Intelligence and Investigation Department, Yaqeen Olanrewaju, urged the participants to take full advantage of such training opportunities to enhance their skills and keep pace with the ever-evolving demands of intelligence and investigative operations.
