Kwara Governor Condemns Kankara Terrorist Attacks as Crimes Against Humanity
According to news report from Leadership, kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has denounced the recent terrorist attacks in Kankara local government area of Katsina State, which claimed the lives of many people, including four policemen.
Describing the attacks as unwarranted and the highest level of cruelty and crimes against humanity, AbdulRazaq expressed his condemnation in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, on Wednesday.
The Chairman of the Nigeria Governors' Forum (NGF) also extended his condolences to Governor Dikko Umar Radda and the people of Katsina State, condemning the cowardly assaults on innocent citizens and security personnel.
“We are also alarmed at the audacity with which violent nonstate actors are unleashing violence on security forces, including military personnel, who put their lives on the line to protect citizens.
“We stand by the government, the security forces, and the good people of Katsina at this trying times. We ask Allah to forgive the victims and comfort their families. We are confident that the security agencies will haunt down the criminals involved in this crimes against humanity,” AbdulRazaq stated.
