AbdulRazaq mourns Justice Belgore, says Kwara has lost great man
Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has mourned the death of a former Justice of the Court of Appeal, Justice Ahmad Belgore.
This is contained in a condolences message issued by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Malam Rafiu Ajakaye, and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Ilorin.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Belgore, who was until his retirement in 2023, the Presiding Justice of Ilorin Division of the Court of Appeal, died on Tuesday night.
“The governor sends his heartfelt condolences to the entire people of Ilorin, the Bar and the Bench and to the Belgores who have lost a rare gem.
“Justice Belgore was a legal giant and a foremost community leader who offered his shoulder for many to lean on,” he said.
AbdulRazaq prayed Allah to forgive the deceased his shortcomings and admit him to Al-jannah Firdaus. (NAN)
