We Will Leverage 6 Commands, 34 Divisions To Prevent Conflicts In Kwara – NSCDC
The Kwara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Umar Mohammed, has said that the corps will leverage six area commands and 34 divisions to prevent crime and conflict in the state.
Its commandant, who disclosed this on Thursday during the continuation of his working visit to NSCDC formations in the state, said the initiative was strategic to gain firsthand insight into operational activities.
Mohammed urged the personnel of the corps to work with other security agencies, local communities, farmers and herders to prevent conflicts.
He appealed to the traditional rulers and other stakeholders in the visited communities to collaborate closely with the corps in the collective effort to combat crime and ensure the security of the state.
