Cyclist Kills Retired Civil Servant In Kwara
A retired female civil servant in Kwara State (name withheld) who was hit by a commercial motorcycle rider while driving against traffic has died.
The incident, our correspondent gathered, occurred over the weekend when the victim was crossing the newly constructed Al-Hikmah University Road at Adeta.
Although she was rushed to the hospital, the victim died in the course of a surgery on Friday.
Speaking with our correspondent on Tuesday, a son of the deceased, Abdulhafiz, who confirmed the incident, said their late mother was injured in her left thigh during the accident.
