Kwara Gov mourns death of civil rights activist Bashiru Saliu
“Everyone has testified to the positive impacts that Mr. Bashiru had on the people around him and his roles within the Kwara State civic space. This is a consolation to thank Almighty God for a life well spent, however painful his death is to all of us. I send my heartfelt condolences to his family, other members of the MCDO, and the entire civil society movement in the state. May he find forgiveness, peace, and deserving rest with God,” the statement said.
