The Acting Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh has commiserated with the Akanbi Oniyo family over the demise of the first son of the late Jurist, Hon. Justice Mustapha Akanbi and brother to the late Vice-Chancellor of KWASU, Professor Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi SAN.

Alhaji Abdulhakeem Ajibola Akanbi died in the early hours of Saturday March 4, 2023 in his residence in Abuja.

Professor Jimoh who described the news of Alhaji Akanbi's death as painful added that the country has lost an illustrious citizen.

While praying on behalf of the Council, Management, Staff and Students of the University that Allah would forgive the sins of the late Alhaji Akanbi, Professor Jimoh also beseeched Allah to comfort the immediate and extended family of the deceased.

Alhaji Abdulhakeem Akanbi was until his death the Director Special Duties, Court of Appeal, Abuja.
