2 Brothers, 1 Other Arrested In Kwara Over Abduction Of Boy In Nasarawa

Date: 2022-10-31

Two brothers, Musa Mohammed and Adamu Mohammed, and one other man, Mohammed Abubakar, have been arrested by the police in Kwara State for kidnapping a nine-year-old boy, Emmanuel James, in Nasarawa State.

It was gathered that Musa kidnapped Emmanuel from his home on October 18, while his brother, Adamu, contacted the boy's father, Yusuf James, for a N50,000 ransom.

Musa was, however, traced to Lade village in Patigi LGA of Kwara State where he resides with his elder brother, Adamu.

A source said that the police from Lade Division and vigilantes later tracked and arrested the siblings and their accomplice, Mohammed Abubakar.

Spokesperson of the Kwara State Police Command, Ajayi Okasanmi, confirmed the development to City & Crime on Sunday, saying, “Investigation is ongoing.”
