Kwara Resident Drowns While Fetching Water From Well

A 25-year-old man, Banji Adebayo, on Monday lost his life after he fell inside a domestic well in Kwara State.

The incident occurred at Ile-Nla, Omu-Aran, Irepodun Local Government Area of the state.

It was gathered that the victim, who had gone to fetch water, slipped into the well.

Confirming the incident, the HOD, Kwara Fire Service, Hassan Adekunle, said the victim's body had been recovered and handed over to the family.

He said, “The director of the service, Prince Falade Olumuyiwa, urged the general public to be more careful in their day-to-day activities.”
