Ilorin: Seven OPC Members Jailed

Senior Magistrate Mohammed Ibrahim ordered the remand in police custody of seven suspected members of the Oodua People's Congress till the 27th of next month for further hearing on their application for bail.

The suspects are Taibat Yusuf of Megidansama, Ojogboro area of Ilorin, Ahmed Hassan, Wahab Omo-Erin and Abiola Razaq.

Others are Aliu Ibrahim, Ibrahim Opeyemi, and Gani Aliu.

The suspects were accused of causing apprehension at Ojagboro-Gambari area of Ilorin as a result of fighting with suspected hoodlums known as Area boys.
