The Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Sola Isiaka Gold, who gave the order while inspecting the projects, said that the ultimatum last till Friday, February 24, this year, reiterating the state government`s commitment to the projects.

The SSG also ordered the contractors handling the palaces of Baloguns and Mogaji Aare of Ilorin, to complete and hand over the projects, by February 28,2012.

He directed them to forward their work-plans to his office latest tomorrow, Thursday.

Gold then assured the local contractors of government's patronage but urged them to remain committed to quality service.

This, according to him, will be the only yardstick that will enable government to patronize them in a competitive environment.

Speaking with the Balogun Fulani and other traditional chiefs at their respective residences, the SSG said the state government would continue to accord the traditional institution necessary recognition.

He noted that it was in line with this that the government embarked on the renovation of their official quarters, charging them to continue their support for government's policies and programmes.
