REBUTTAL: Don't reappoint Lai Mohammed.

Date: 2019-05-23

The Attention of Kwara South Progressive Youth Forum (KSPYF) has been drawn to a vicious statement signed by one of JB's Ayeni that Alhaji Lai, the Minister of Information and Culture, should not be reappointed as the Kwara state ministerial slot.

It is important to set the straight record, the revolution for everyone enrolled today in Kwara state, was the first test-run at the senatorial district of the Minister. In retrospect, we c an all remember the November 17, By-election at Ekiti / Isin / Irepodun / Oke-Ero Federal constituency, that made Hon. Raheem Olawuyi Ajuloopin Member of the House of Representatives at the said constituency.

It was the re-election of Lai Mohammed in the November 17 election, the progress party was recorded as one of the best and most important for the first time in our dear state.

We cannot undermine the influence and effort of the minister in the last general election, that gave us the song "O TO PE".

Also, we are proud of Lai Mohammed, for his giants strides. No doubt, he has projected our country to the global world through his ministry.

However, the general public should note, that these assemblages of opportunist cum scavengers with no political value are not speaking for Kwara South, but only for their primordial interest. Their ilks are sycophants, who earn a living by worshiping the rising sun.
