Bamigboye, 1st Kwara military governor for interment on Saturday

The First Kwara military governor, Brig.-Gen. David Bamigboye, will be buried on Saturday, Nov. 3, according to the state government.

The State's Head of Service, Mrs. Modupe Oluwole, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), on Monday in Ilorin, that the body of the deceased will arrive Ilorin on Wednesday, Oct. 31, by air.

She said the state government will hold service of song for the late former military governor of the state at the Banquet Hall, Opposite Government House on Thursday, Nov. 1, beginning from 4:00p.m.

The Head of Service explained that Commendation Service will hold at Saint Bernabas, Ilorin by 11:00a.m on Friday, Nov. 2, after which his body leaves for Omu-Aran, his home town in a motorcade to be received by the community by 4:00p.m.

She said Wake has been scheduled for his residence in Omu-Aran, the headquarters of Irepodun Local Government Area of the state between 11:00a.m and 1:00p.m on Saturday, Nov. 3, while funeral service will hold at St Paul's Anglican Church, Omu-Aran.

According to her, Interment and reception will follow immediately at his residence.(NAN)
