The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association yesterday Sunday 3rd June, 2918 distributed food items worth hundreds of thousands naira to the less privileged, aged women, widows in Ilorin Emirate community across the five LGAs.

While presenting this year's Ramadan packages at the Association's head office, the National President of the Association, Alhaji Babatunde Salaudeen emphasised that the distribution of the food items and cash was to alleviate the suffering of the needy within the Emirate community.

Also speaking, the Publicity Secretary of Association, Alhaji Uthman Muhammed Jagunmo, called on well-meaning Nigerians to support the Association for the growth of the state. He therefore, appreciated their various donors within the Emirate and beyond, who have made this year's occasion possible.

In another development, the Association also condoled with the Kwara state government, the Emir of Ilorin and families of late Balogun Ajikobi of Ilorin, Alhaji Issa Jimoh Ajikobi, the  Former Vice Chairman, Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abdulwahab Toyin-Onipe and the pioneer ICPC Chairman, Justice Mustapha Akanbi on their departure. He discribed their departure as great loss to the entire Emirate, Kwara and indeed Nigeria at large.

The Association's National Vice Preaident, Alhaji Shiekh Muritala Ottan, led members and the Ramadan package beneficiaries in prayers to God almighty to strengthen and enrich their donors and equally prayed for the souls of the departed.
