The executive of the All Progressives Congress ( APC ) ALANAMU ward has reacted to the purported suspension of Alhaji Moshood Mustapha and denounced the announcement .

In a statement signed by the Vice Chairman of the ward, Alhaja Iyabo Lawal , the Youth leader , Alhaji AbdulGaniyu Saka Jatto , Public Relations officer of the party at the ward level, Mallam HASSAN Abdulgafar and Alhaji Suleiman Yahaya , the APC Ilorin West Welfare Secretary said there was no time that any decision to suspend Alhaji Mustapha was taken by the executive of the party at the ward level.

According them, Alhaji Mustapha is a respected leader in the ward and has contributed to the formation , growth and development of the party and he has not committed any infraction to warrant any suspension from the party.

The statement added that they believe in the leadership of Alhaji Mustapha adding that his purported suspension was predicated upon the incoming APC congresses and threatened to discipline those behind his purported suspension .

It implored all party members to go about their businesses and remain law abiding party members and obtain their PVC's in preparation for the forthcoming general elections and get prepared for the ward congress slated for the fifth of May, this year
